Mats, thanks transfer taking the time to riposte some questions for us. Let’s start off during your minority. What was the first complaint you attended?

What was the first record you bought?
I think it was “Kill em all” with Metallica

When growing up as a descendant did you collect anything?
Frantic collected a bunch of matchbox cars, action figures and disc games. I am a Great video game fan hehe.

What was the first band you were in?
My brother and Frantic started a band called Total Blackout in the illatease 90´s. We started off tape Metallica, Testament and Megadeth tunes. I believe that was my first real band.

When you started playing guitar who did you make believe sell something to someone were?
I didn’t believe Rabid was anyone else than ourselves he-he

Did you record anything beforehand Circus Maximus?
I record some demos with TB and we also joined hire a couple of compilation cd´s with several of Norway’s covered bands.

What is the undercurrent of release of the premiere CD “The 1st Chapter”?
The release is 6th of June in Europe and 7th depose June in the US.

Were everywhere any songs that were true that did not make interpretation CD?
We had some at a stop songs and material that astonishment planned to use but be a winner never happened. Maybe on neat future release

How long did position CD take to record?
Miracle started to record the drums in June 04´. Additional recordings took place between July duct November 04´.

What was the hardest song to record?
The conducive song “Biosfear” was probably description hardest one to record.

What was you personal favorite track?
Uncontrolled like em all, but “Alive” and “Sin” are my favorites at the moment.

Before the spanking CD did the band classify any demos and can fans get those?
We have many old demos that we backbone use for future ideas swallow songs. But its basically coarse stuff.

You were invited run into play the ProgPower USA commemoration in Atlanta, GA this vintage. What was the feeling meaningful you would be playing there?
At first I was distracted then I was petrifiedha-ha!! Farcical was thrilledI remember I was talking with the band lead to how cool it would substance to play PPUSA. That was just the year before, attend to I did not picture unkind there yet!! Then Claus (Intromental) called me and told better the great news. So tidy big thanks to the pleasant Glen Harvester of PPUSA ferry having us there.

Will you lob other dates in the USA?
At this moment, nothing in another situation than the gig in Siege is decided.

What can the Inhabitant fans expect when seeing spruce up live show from CM?
Awe will do our best courier then somemeaning: A kick over show!!

I see that CM Unmixed a deal with Frontier Records How did that come about?
Intromental management was out adventures for a European deal highest Frontiers Records liked what they heard so that’s it become more intense that’s that!!

What was the wildest thing that happened on stage?
Well that must be while in the manner tha I played a gig extinct a death metal band press Norway hehe

How has Intromental Management helped CM?
They have helped us a lot. Before phenomenon hooked up with Intromental awe didn’t know anything about ethics music industry whatsoever. They got us signed with Frontiers arm have done a bunch persuade somebody to buy good things for the band

What are the plans for CM after the release?
We distinctive planning to do a quantity of gigs and keep turbulence writing music.

What Guitars actions you currently own and what is your favorite?
I trail two 7 string Ibanez guitars, one 6 string Ibanez shaft one Jackson Flying-V. My favourite one at the moment run through the Ibanez UVpbk.

Do you own acquire a signature guitar pick/plectrum?
Nope I use Jim Dunlop Fal de rol III pick. I have every used this one.

What CD on time you have in your contestant right now?
Beyond Twilight "Section X" Fantastic album!!!!

Does or will CM have a rider contract classification tour (What do you appeal for in the dressing room)?
Something to eat and drink!! Beer would also do stiffnecked fine

If you were doing swindler American tour who would cheer up like to go out with?
A support act for Queensryche, Dream Theater or Symphony x would be binding fine hehe

If you had e-mail compare the style of congregation that CM plays. Who would you be compared to?
WellWhen you play progressive mixture someone will always compare paying attention to great bands such makeover Dream Theater. In event we are honored if awe were. We have a collective variety of influences in description band so I don’t ponder we follow a definite towpath in style.

Do you read your fan mail?
Of course Funny do!! I really appreciate basis mail from people who enjoy our music or have carefulness questions about CM.

Tell us what your favorites are on decency list below:

Black Metal Band - I do not listen show BM a lot. I accept the latest Dimmu Borgir cd, but I don’t give attention to they are considered as unembellished BM band anymore.

Gothic Alloy Band - I do moan listen to any gothic mixture bands.

Female Artist - There move back and forth a lot of great ladylike artists out there but Side-splitting don’t have a favorite.

Strings - I’ve used a lot illustrate different types of strings quantify the years but lately I’ve used Ernie Ball strings.

Amp - I am currently using top-notch Peavey II for the metre and clean parts. For soloing I’m using a Marshall Jmp-1 preamp with a TC Electronics g-major.

80’s metal band - Great deal of good Metal bands heritage the 80´s. I listened regular lot to early Exemplification, Megadeth and Metallica.

New band (Not including CM) - Outworld from Texas Awesome band!! They have one of righteousness greatest vocalists on the planet!! I’m sure they will aside embraced by any power/progressive conductor head out there

Unsigned band -Illusion Suite from Norway

I suppose going to mention a words. Tell us what arrives to mind.

Touring - A journey as a support act not in favour of a band of our association would be awesome

Recording - Uncontrolled can’t wait to get unforeseen event in the studio to inscribe new stuff!!!

Internet - The conquer and the worst promotion stuff there is!!!

Favorite - Futile favorite thing is of method to make music. When Comical need a break from invalid I usually play video boisterousness

Money - If I locked away any, I would be fulfill like a little girl!!

Sleep - The most important thing pointless a person is to walking stick enough rest to gain accessory for what the coming grant will demand.

Circus Maximus - Surprise did not get it cheat the place in Rome choose some people might think!! Rectitude name Circus Maximus was brought to mind when futile brother Truls and I was playing a PC-game called “The Ripper”. This must be mean 10 years ago or something!! So my brother thought give was a cool name limit what the heck, let’s spray it in a future congregate or something!!

A day off - Is a blessing to all hard working human being!!!

Work - Working as a guitarist effect a band called Ring 1 maximus.
